Painter Qualifications Previous industrial painting, manufacturing painting, powder coating, spray painting, or paint line experience preferred. Knowledge of paint application processes, spray gun operation, coating thickness requirements, color matching, and quality inspection procedures. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, production documents, and technical drawings. Familiarity with industrial chemicals, cleaning solutions, paint materials, and proper PPE/safety practices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform quality checks and maintain consistent production standards. Ability to train and support team members on painting processes and equipment operation. Experience with inventory control, production scheduling, Kanban systems, or manufacturing documentation is preferred. Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
