SUMMARY: Responsible for all activities related to maintaining, processing and providing distinctive customer service to the Mortgage Warehouse Lending and Dealer Floor Plan account customers, as well as other specialty lending transactions, verifying accuracy of data and performing any transactions and maintenance required to maintain the integrity of the data records. Responsible for providing internal customer support to all lending personnel concerning questions about the loan records on the loan accounting system. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Audits purchased participation loans to ensure alignment with lead institution. Researches discrepancies on sold participation loans when purchasing institution is out of alignment. Requests money from participants for advances made on lead loans. Processes wires daily. Assesses annual loan fees in Dealer Floor Plan software and sends customer notification of fees. Collects and posts fees. Understands third party software used for dealer floor plan processing, finds ways to use for better efficiency. Distributes daily and monthly Dealer Floor Plan and warehouse lending reports to designated departments and lenders. Monitors serviced loan transactions and notifies the customer of returned payments. Processes the serviced loans monthly payments through online banking access. Maintains extensive daily contact with mortgage warehouse lenders, floor plan dealers and various divisions of staff. Researches and resolves issues encountered with daily warehouse and dealer floor plan transactions. Maintains interest rates for both warehouse and dealer floor plan loans in the lending software. Swap Loan Processing - Ensures coordinating payment/rate/accrual information with Bank's Treasury Department, Chatham Financial Website and Counter Parties. Analyzes Swap loan issues and corrects errors. Assists with training and guidance to team members with respect to understanding, processing and managing the workload. Assists in the development and implementation of operational plans, policies, procedures, and goals that further scalability, automation and efficiency. Collaborates with peers and leaders and makes recommendations for changes to gain efficiency. Fosters strong relationships with leader and peers to ensure collaboration and effective communication within the team. Assists with the process flow documentation for assigned systems and areas of responsibility and pursues areas of improvement. Assists in maintaining the repository of procedures, processes, job aids and other critical information for functional areas. Assists in driving the effective use of technology within functional areas. Performs work within customer service level expectations and key vendor processing timelines. Performs daily work as defined accurately. Recommends to leadership about possible changes to processing that will enhance the process. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner. Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude. Ability to learn various Banking Software programs. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Associates degree preferred.
