Maintenance Technician

Responsible
for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building
maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating,
ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing, etc). Perform general
cleaning. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Products Group site for our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, and
Radio Frequency (RF) product lines.

Job Summary

  • Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, light fixtures and ballast, minor appliances, cords, etc) using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools
  • Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.)
  • Performs minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc)
  • Some experience with 3D CAD software
  • Reconfigures, installs, and positions modular offices
    and space to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various
    hand, power, and specialty tools, dollies, and hand trucks
  • Order parts and maintain required documents
  • Manage maintenance software (FMX) (e.g. input or WO, close out WO, manage inventory, and generate report, etc)
  • Manage vendors list (e.g. contact vendors as needed, oversee vendor's work performance, and sign-off on vendor WO, etc)
  • Occasionally availability for on-call
  • Assist Facility/Maintenance Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to run diagnostic on electrical and mechanical equipment plus all other equipment
  • Ability to work on 3-phase equipment, installing and repairs
  • Ability to troubleshoot & repair equipment
  • Ability to read and write PLC
  • Ability to evaluate objectively, fairly and consistently
  • Ability to use common tools
  • Ability to understand and follow direction as given
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Use miscellaneous office equipment (e.g. calculator, computers, FAX machines, copiers, etc)
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Must be able to work after hours and weekends if needed
  • Support plant safety initiatives through active
    involvement in the safety program

Required Experience and Education

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be customer service oriented
  • Occasional overtime is required

Base Compensation: USD 21.00 - 25.00
