Pay Rate: $18.46 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Essential Job Functions:



  • Wash and sanitize all equipment and floors in the plant for inspection.
  • Disassemble equipment and prepare for sanitation process.
  • Don all appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Utilize high pressure hoses to clean and disinfect buildings and equipment (i.e., hatcher rooms, hatcher trays, hatcher racks, egg flats, hatching machines, set hall, and tray washroom).
  • Scrub equipment with scrub pads to ensure complete cleaning.
  • Help maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.

Requirements:



  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8+hrs) on concrete/metal grate ergo stands or on the floor.
  • Able to climb tall ladders and catwalks.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Must be able to work with sanitation chemicals.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 30 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach above head.
  • Ability to operate disinfectant equipment as well as tray washer.
  • Ability to work in a wet environment with temperature ranges.
  • Must adhere to disease control policies.


Additional Functions:



  • Other duties which include but are not limited to traying the correct eggs according to the set sheet, properly loading and unloading eggs and/or chicks, and transferring and servicing.
