Position Details
Pay Range: $20.00/hour to $26.00/hour
Shift Details: Monday - Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm
Full Time - Direct Hire
Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Foundry Technician to join our Stoves Business Unit in Randolph, VT. We are the nation's leading manufacturer and supplier ofhearthproducts, including a wide variety of gas, electric, wood and pellet burning fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and accessories.

As one of our four core business units, the Stoves Business Unit brings together top brands such as Harman, Vermont Castings, and Quadra-Fire, now united underoneas Forge & Flame, alongside other stove brands. This unit focuses on delivering high-quality, reliable stove solutions, including wood, pellet, and gas models.
Foundry Technician Responsibilities
  • Producing quality cast iron parts used to create our industry-leading fireplaces, stoves and hearth products, inclusive of the iconic Vermont Castings brand.
  • Determine mold specifications, production counts and product specifications.
  • Follow written and pictorial standard work instructions.
  • Complete quality and safety checks
  • You can advance your skills by learning the various rotation of the melt and mold process, including set up and operation of DISA equipment, furnaces, and sand system.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Read and perform basic math functions to determine mold specifications, production counts, work-in-process, and product specifications,
  • Ability to follow written and pictorial standard work instructions,
  • Effectively communicate with others
Advanced & Preferred Skills
  • Operation of a variety of material handling equipment such as Bobcat, Forklift, Yard Truck, Sweeper
  • Operation of a variety of overhead cranes and hoists to move material such as molten metal, slag and refractory containers, furnace components and other equipment weighing from 2 to 10 tons.
