Tesla'sBattery Cell -Supplier Industrialization teamis responsible forbattery cells,raw materials' new process development andqualification, quality engineeringactivities at suppliers.The SupplyChain Program Managerwillworkclosely with many organizations both internal and external to Tesla, taking new batteryrawmaterialdesigns frominitialconcept through intomassproduction.In this role, you will serve asthe representative of battery cell supply chain organization and act as thecentral pointof contact betweenTesla internal teams -Supply Chain function including Tesla's Executive Team, Engineering,andManufacturingorganizations. The work environment is demanding,fast-pacedand incredibly exciting. The ideal candidate should be ready to push their limits, as they joininhighly motivated and capable team to make unbelievable things into reality.
What You'll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of the Tesla Qualification Processtoensurenew materialsare properly qualifiedto meet production demand and quality standard
- Drivetimelymaterialqualificationswith cross functional stakeholders toidentifycritical path and to meet material readiness milestones such as sample delivery, manufacturing trials, and factory bring up
- Drive issue resolutionand mitigation actions atthe supplierslike factory readiness delays, production bottlenecks, and supplier quality issueswith the supplier industrialization engineering team
- Communicate concisely & clearly to internal teamson risks of qualification/production,path to mitigation, and status of actions
- Translate technical problems and datatoactionableplans with clear milestonesand owners
- Enable &ensure factory/line readiness at multiple supplier sites before start of mass production
- Assesses,analyses,consolidatesand communicates risk and status clearly, calling out key issues, and presenting path to resolution in cross functional forums atworkinglevel as well as tosenior executives
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, MechanicalEngineering, orsimilar technical engineering discipline
- 5+ years of program management experience. Preferably in battery NPI or manufacturing.Prior technicalexpertise(process development, or quality engineering, or design engineering)is preferred
- Experience in managing executive level presentations focusing on impact, actions, and milestones
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross functional stakeholders, especially senior management
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability toestablishbusiness process issues and drive process improvement

Expected Compensation
$112,000 - $217,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
