Position Summary

Credence has an immediate opening for an Electronic Warfare and Research at the Senior level supporting Plans and Programs Division (AFLCMC/WAX) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

The Plans and Programs division modernizes and sustains materiel capabilities for F&AA aircraft and cross-cutting combat support programs to meet multiple DoD and coalition partner requirements. This division acquires unique technologies and development efforts to transition new capabilities to the warfighter, manages cross cutter processes (i.e., airworthiness, Configuration Management (CM), system safety, Universal Armament Interface (UAI), and cybersecurity) and accomplishes capability planning and integration for existing and future F&AA programs from concept identification to system fielding. This division provides support for F&AA Directorate Director's Action Group (DAG)/Program Execution Group (PEG) in executing program management and administrative oversight of programs within the AFLCMC/WA portfolio. The Advance Planning Team within the WAX Division is responsible for outlining future force capability roadmaps for aircraft within the F&AA Portfolio serving as a critical interface with all Major Commands (MAJCOMs) of the USAF and the AF Warfighting Integration Capability organization.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

• The Electronic Warfare (EW) analyst, with particular emphasis in the fusion of intelligence and EW threat information into the integration of radar, Electronic Warfare (EW), and other Fighters & Advanced Aircraft capabilities.
• Perform analyses, including requirement analyses and system capacity analyses; investigate alternative solutions and architecture trade-offs; make assessments; support operations concept development; and document results.
• Assist in reviewing and/or developing draft systems intelligence and programmatic documents in support of milestone reviews and events and as directed.
• Participate in regular team meetings, TIMs, technical reviews, interface control working group meetings, and other meetings as directed.
• Support hardware/software development and related system ground and flight test activities, including hardware-in-the-loop, subsystem integration labs, DT, and IOT&E-related activities.
• Provide technical advice, serve as the technical interface between Government customers and radar/system manufacturers, interact with customers, participate in meetings, and produce technically detailed products.
• Perform technical activities associated with radar waveforms and signal and data processing techniques that provide robust performance in EMI, electronic countermeasure, multipath, ducting, and clutter environments.
• Support activities involving phased array and active aperture antennas, adaptive array processing, digital beam forming, klystron and solid-state transmitter technologies, receiver and transmitter stability issues, advanced analog-to-digital technology, EMI, EW, and digital signal processing techniques including MTI, pulse Doppler, monopulse, imaging, adaptive techniques, Clutter Map Constant False Alarm Rates, clutter maps, and timing issues.
• Assist in accomplishing data processing including centroiding, tracker, timing issues, data loading issues, software, and interfaces to combat system and/or automation systems including required data, quantity of data, data merging, and integration.
• Assist in accomplishing modeling/simulation of radar, targets, and clutter/weather.
• Support testing and evaluation of radar system performance, including developing test plans and procedures, witnessing tests, and writing test reports for qualification testing, operational field testing, and factory system-level testing.
• Attend meetings and prepare/present briefings, graphics, and visuals for leadership and customers.
• Prepare security paperwork, including DD Form 2875 and Communications Security (COMSEC) inspection criteria.
• Assist in access control and perform escort duties for VTC, briefing, and other visitors.
• Answer telephones and other modes of administrative communication in the performance of duties.
• Perform self-inspections; identify security discrepancies; and report security incidents.
• Support security inspections, identify security discrepancies, and assist in report preparation.
• Perform courier responsibilities within the local area.
• Control program media and information within AFMC security guidelines.
• Populate and update databases, including suspense tracking, personnel access, facility, JWICS system, and SharePoint, in the performance of assigned duties.
• Maintain open/close privileges within secure compartmented intelligence facilities (SCIFs).
• Handle JWICS communications to ensure cognizant parties are informed and appropriate responses are prepared, coordinated, and communicated while maintaining appropriate security disciplines.
• Support proper handling, preparation, and tracking of physical classified products entering or leaving the facility.
• Support the planning, formulation, editing, development, publication, and storage of Special Access Program (SAP) and TS/SCI products.
• Support meetings and events attended or hosted by the Director of Intelligence (DoI), Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA), and Acquisition Intelligence Analysts (AIA) on an as-required basis.
• Develop, maintain, and modify schedules and calendars as required on multi-level security systems.
• Use updated Security Classification Guides (SCGs) or other source documents to perform classification reviews on JWICS, SIPR, and NIPR documentation, ensuring proper derivative classification on all documents encountered during performance of duties.
• Support administrative tasks as necessary to support acquisition and operations functions.

• Must have an active or current Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility.
• Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoW/DoD
• OR bachelor's degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoW/DoD
• OR, fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight (8) of which must be in the DoW/DoD.
• Preferred ABET accreditation.
• Must possess knowledge of radar and electronic warfare theory and principles, intelligence processes and tradecraft, and an understanding of the radar design, development, and implementation process.
