Foundry Operator (4th Shift)

Location: Mentor, OH

Pay Based on Relevant Experience

We are seeking dependable and motivated Foundry Operators to join our team on 4th Shift in Mentor, Ohio. As a Foundry Operator, you'll support critical vacuum casting operations while working with advanced furnace technology in a fast-paced environment that values quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

4th Shift Schedule

Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Week 1

Work: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Off: Wednesday, Thursday

Week 2

Work: Wednesday, Thursday
Off: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate vacuum furnaces, including Equiax, Directional Solidification (D.S.), and Single Crystal furnaces
  • Record all required production and process data accurately
  • Assist with furnace setup and changeovers, including D.S. susceptors, coils, and melt coils
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), engineering specifications, and special lot instructions
  • Meet established production and efficiency goals
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
  • Develop a strong understanding of foundry processes and materials
  • Organize work to support efficient production flow
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Experience
  • Manufacturing or foundry experience preferred
  • Experience working with industrial equipment or high-temperature processes is a plus
  • Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education)
