Position Summary

(Must be willing and able to rotate/learn various areas as needed)

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

  • Properly run machine by manually moving baskets in and out of the wash area.
  • Be proficient in identifying the component parts.
  • Ensure the upmost highest quality for all parts put in the Durr wash system.
  • Verify counts in each basket match the router ticket.

  • Understand part numbers and be able to read them.

  • Empty Chip Carts as needed.
  • Properly tumble parts in a safe manner as required per customer orders.
  • Perform Secondary Operations to include: loading and unloading parts in machines, refill coolant and maintain tooling.
  • Identify when tooling needs replaced and change tooling effectively.
  • Understand and follow work instructions and set-up sheets to properly set-up machines per customer requirements.
  • Effectively gauge and measure parts produced
  • Setting up and Maintaining Secondary Processing Equipment
  • 5S Wash Room and Chip Room daily.

  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail oriented. Good judgment to comply with instructions and standard procedures, methods or practices.

  • Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of component parts is preferred.
  • Understand and complies with ISO procedures
  • Ability to read routers and blueprints
  • Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Able to effectively work with people in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Moderate physical effort consisting of:
    • Frequently lifting or moving material up to 35 pounds.
