Surgery Coordinator - Sleep Center

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Surgery Coordinator to join our Sleep Center team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:

Secures necessary patient information relating to the scheduling and/or processing of surgical procedures. Schedules surgeries and performs required procedures including documentation. Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinates information provided for business services functions including CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm, 3 days on-site, 2 days remote.

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Medical terminology and CPT-4 coding knowledge required.
• Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combinatation:

• 2 or more years related experience in a health care environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Detail oriented individual with strong human relation and organizational skills.
