Job Description

The Technical Analyst IV serves as a senior technical expert and strategic partner between business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams, driving the successful delivery of complex technology solutions across the enterprise. This role is responsible for leading the analysis, design, integration, implementation, and support of critical applications, infrastructure, and data management solutions that directly impact organizational success.

As a highly technical individual contributor, the Technical Analyst IV combines deep technical expertise with business acumen to solve complex challenges, architect integration solutions, and advance the organization's long-term technology roadmap. This position requires a self-starter who can operate independently, take initiative, and lead through influence while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership.

The Technical Analyst IV is expected to manage highly visible projects with enterprise-wide impact, provide expert-level support for mission-critical systems, and serve as a trusted advisor in evaluating and implementing technology solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, security, and operational resilience.

How You'll Spend Your Time

* You will serve as a senior technical resource supporting highly complex, mission-critical applications and enterprise technology platforms.
* You will design, develop, and support sophisticated integrations, APIs, batch processes, real-time interfaces, stored procedures, and automation solutions that enable critical business functions.
* You will create, manage, and optimize enterprise job scheduling activities, including designing, reviewing, and troubleshooting complex job plans and dependencies.
* You will partner closely with business leaders and technical teams to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
* You will create and maintain data flow documentation, data mapping, conversion mapping, and integration specifications across multiple applications and platforms.
* You will lead systems analysis, solution design, testing, implementation, deployment, configuration management, and disaster recovery planning efforts for critical systems.
* You will evaluate, recommend, and implement technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and long-term strategic objectives.
* You will manage all aspects of application ownership, upgrades, monitor application health, performance, incident resolution, security, change control, hardware, vulnerabilities.
* You will mentor and guide analysts and technical team members by sharing knowledge, providing technical expertise, and supporting professional development.
* You will demonstrate deep expertise in multi-application integrations, data movement, software architecture, cloud technologies, database design, and enterprise platform support.
* You will develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, configuration standards, operational procedures, and support artifacts.
* You will independently manage multiple priorities and initiatives while maintaining accountability for deliverables, timelines, and results.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and/or 5-7 years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Application Development, Data Analytics, Bank Operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise
* Advanced SQL expertise, including query optimization, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and complex data analysis.
* Experience developing and maintaining scripts, automation solutions, and integration tools utilizing JavaScript or similar technologies.
* Strong understanding of relational database design principles and experience designing and supporting data structures that facilitate scalable application integrations.
* Experience supporting tiered environments including in house developed code, testing, UAT, production, and disaster recovery environments.
* Experience developing, testing, and supporting application disaster recovery strategies and procedures.
* Cloud platform experience preferred, including Azure, AWS, or related enterprise cloud technologies.
* Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex technical problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
* Experience leading technical workstreams and collaborating on projects utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
* Experience with Project Management methodologies, quality assurance, testing practices, and testing tools.
* Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, compliance, and change management practices.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing business needs.
* Strong vendor management and line-of-business relationship management skills.
* Demonstrated ability to break down complex initiatives into actionable work plans, establish timelines, and drive successful execution.
