We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement & Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced business operations team in Dearborn, MI. This temporary opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in accounts payable, procurement, purchasing support, invoice processing, and SAP systems.

In this role, you will manage purchase orders, vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment tracking, account reconciliation, and budget administration. You will also coordinate event-related financial activities, maintain accurate records, support month-end close processes, and partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve billing and payment issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions and vendor payments
• Manage purchase orders, work orders, and procurement documentation
• Support vendor onboarding and maintain vendor records
• Reconcile invoices, credit cards, and payment discrepancies
• Track budgets and ensure financial compliance
• Assist with month-end close activities and reporting
• Coordinate event logistics, budgets, approvals, and vendor billing
• Maintain accurate records in SAP and related business systems

Qualifications

• Associate degree required
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, or Accounting
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP HANA, Ariba, and purchasing systems
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payment management, and reconciliation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Adobe Suite preferred
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or other fast-paced environments is a plus
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
