Job Summary

Performs a variety of food service duties to support the preparation, setup, delivery, and service of food and beverages in a fast-paced environment.

Ensures quality, efficiency, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up food service areas, equipment, and stations for daily operations
  • Prepare and assist with a variety of hot and cold food items, including meats, vegetables, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods
  • Serve food to customers while ensuring proper portion control, presentation, and temperature standards
  • Transport food and supplies between kitchen and service areas using carts or manual handling
  • Restock serving lines, utensils, and supplies to maintain continuous service
  • Monitor food quality and identify issues such as spoilage or equipment concerns
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Follow established procedures for food safety, temperature control, and handling
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of food service operations, including line setup and temperature control
  • Understanding of food preparation techniques and presentation standards
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and kitchen tools
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy items as needed
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control and supply management
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2-3 years of food service experience required
