About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director of In-Patient Nursing - Telemetry provides strategic and operational leadership for nursing services within their designated area. This influential role is responsible for advancing clinical excellence, supporting staff engagement and retention, optimizing operations, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

You will lead and mentor nursing professionals and collaborate with clinical teams while creating an environment where employees can thrive and patients receive compassionate, exceptional care. Quality and safety are number one.

What You'll Do

As the Nurse Director, you will:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for nursing and operational services within your assigned area.
  • Build, coach, and develop high-performing nursing teams while fostering employee engagement and professional growth.
  • Create strategies that support recruitment, retention, and workforce development.
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure nursing leaders remain informed and aligned with current organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.
  • Oversee staffing models and patient assignments to support quality outcomes and efficient operations.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement initiatives that drive excellence in patient care and team performance.

What We're Looking For

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field

Required Licensure

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

Preferred Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience with direct management responsibility for staff.

Compensation

Annual Salary Range: $147,097.60 - $213,959.20

Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
