What You Will Do to Change Lives

A MCRT Triage Dispatcher for mobile crisis response acts as the first point of contact and plays a critical role in triage decision-making for behavioral health emergencies in accordance with established protocols and supervisory guidance. Their primary goal is to screen a caller's situation, determine the level of risk, manage and document in multiple platforms and dispatch a mobile crisis team when screening reflects a team can accept.

Shifts Available:

(1) Full-Time | AM | Shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Days: Sunday - Thursday & Tuesday - Saturday

(1) Full-Time | NOC | Shifts: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Days: Sunday - Thursday & Tuesday - Saturday

(1) Full-Time | PM | Shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | Days: Sunday - Thursday & Tuesday - Saturday

Expected starting wage range is $27.30 - $33.73. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)



  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health with two (2) years of experience in mental health or substance use services.
  • Including at least One (1) year of crisis experience at an inpatient, ACT, CRT, CSU, MCRT or a crisis call center.
  • Sensitivity to multi-cultural populations and issues.
  • Firm understanding of mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and community resources.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and BLS certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment.
  • All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.


  • Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.


  • Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.

Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)

Telecare's behavioral health program is a 24/7, Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) serving individuals of all ages experiencing mental health crisis.

MCRT is creating an opportunity for Clinicians, Case Manager Master's, and Certified Peer Supports to intervene in a unique way that has never been done before in our system of care. This program collaborates and accepts referrals from County Access and Crisis Line (ACL) and law enforcement. MCRT will offer crisis triage and management, risk assessment, in-person intervention, and case management.

Each team will respond to calls from the mobile crisis van to provide services directly in the field in San Joaquin County.
