The CHASS Building and Facilities Lead provides operation support to the members of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) community. The incumbent ensures the proper maintenance of classrooms, buildings, and common areas; liaise with various facilities management units on campus to initiate and execute projects; submits trouble calls & FSRs to address building issues both as they are reported as well as when they are observed; assists with the inspection of all CHASS occupied building to identify problem areas and follows up to ensure all items are addressed in a timely manner; and assists with routine maintenance requests to mitigate the number of problems that may occur. In addition, the CHASS Building and Facilities Lead is responsible for the management and upkeep of access to space and distributing keys. The CHASS Building and Facilities Lead, in collaboration with other CHASS units, assists with special projects for CHASS including office moves, ergonomics ordering, and other operational and maintenance requests as needed.

The full salary range for the CHASS Building and Facilities Lead is $78,428.97 - $114,668.40 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
