OPEN-AREA TENURE-TRACK POSITION AT THE RANK OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor. We seek innovativeneuroscientistsworking in any area ofpsychology whose research advances understanding of behavior, learning,and/or cognition.We are open to candidateswho use experimental approaches with human or non-human animals as well as those who use computational approaches or modeling. The position includes a generous startup package and opportunities for teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels; the teaching load for assistant professors is 1:1. We particularly welcome candidates whose work will foster interdisciplinary collaborations with the Iowa Neuroscience Institute and other research communities across campus. The NIH-supported Behavioral-Biomedical Interface Training Program further promotes integrative and cross-disciplinary research, while the DeLTA Center brings together scholars interested in learning and development across the lifespan. Iowa also supports a growing community of computational and data scientists.
