We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: NICU Registered Nurse in Portland, OR.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: NRP, BLS
• Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Arterial line management, Blood glucose monitoring, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Management of Chest Tubes, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Phlebotomy, Phototherapy, Seizure disorders, Starting and maintaining IVs, Anti-Seizure Medications, Antibiotics/Antivirals, Assist with lumbar puncture, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Bubble CPAP, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Developmental Care, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Gastroschisis/Omphalocele, High Frequency Ventilation, ICP monitoring, Insulin administration, Meconium Aspiration, Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Neonates < 24-28 weeks, NICU IV, Nitric Oxide (INo), Oscillators, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Patient/family teaching, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Post Abdominal Surgery, Post interventional cardiac catheterization, Pre-Cardiac Surgery, Respiratory distress syndrome, Sepsis Work Up, Steroids, Surfactants, Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket), Tracheostomy care/management, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), Ventricular Peritoneal (VP) Shunts, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Thermoregulation
