The course will be offered in Spring Quarter 2027. In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include preparing course materials for asynchronous online instruction (syllabus, recorded lectures, assignments, etc.), maintaining a course website, holding office hours, assigning grades, and advising students. To assist with course development, the lecturer will have access to a team of instructional designers through the Social Ecology Hub for Innovative Education. Required: M.A., M.S. or doctoral students who are advanced to candidacy in a field appropriate to the course (e.g., Public Administration, Urban Planning, Public Policy). Desired: A Ph.D. in a field appropriate to the course (e.g., Public Administration, Urban Planning, Public Policy). Experience teaching courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
