Job Description
ECU Department of Library Services- Joyner is currently seeking Student Technicians to provide technical support to students, faculty, and staff at the Technology & Printing Services desk located on the first floor of Joyner Library.

Duties:

  • (Primary Duty) Assist ECU students, faculty and staff with technology-related issues. These issues include, but are not limited to printing support, onboarding personal devices to the campus' Wi-Fi network, and assistance with basic software and hardware questions.
  • Processing and printing poster requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have good communication skills. This position requires effective and clear communication with department staff as well as ECU students, faculty, and staff who use the library.
  • Familiarity with technology, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and basic printing knowledge.
  • Candidates must be able to maintain an organized shared work environment.
  • Candidates must be in good academic standing with East Carolina University.

GPA Requirement Minimum of 2.0
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
License/certification required
