Quality Control Manager - CBP Facilities - San Diego, California


Summary:

The Quality Control / Safety Manager is responsible for:
  • Reporting Directly to Corporate QC Safety Director.
  • Supervising and monitoring QC staff and QC Program processes and activities.
  • Overseeing the implementation of a quality control system (QCS)
  • Continually reviewing and revising (annually or as needed) the QCS to meet contract objectives and to maintain the effectiveness of the plan.
  • Reviewing and approving Quality Control Plans.
  • Advising on Quality, certification and acceptance criteria for material purchase, specialist packages and services.
  • Following up on all open Corrective Action Reports and ensuring they are properly closed out.

Experience Required:
  • At least 5 years of experience managing and implementing a quality control/ Safety system for the mechanical maintenance and administration of a portfolio of commercial, industrial, or educational facilities across a State or region.
  • Service inspected should include full facilities maintenance, energy management, custodial, grounds and tenant support services.

Education and Certifications Desired:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or quality/safety field preferred.
  • Six (6) Sigma Green belt and/or executing an ISO certified quality/safety system.
  • OSHA 40 Safety Certification and 40-Hour HAZWOPER training course preferred.
Salary: $80,000 annually
A background check and drug screen will be conducted for this position.
