Cognitive Professional Services is currently recruiting for a position supporting a contract with the Ohio National Guard. This position is contingent on contract award.
Primary Functions/Work Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake evaluations, psycho-diagnostic assessments, and needs assessments, while delivering Traumatic Event Management (TEM) services and managing time-sensitive crisis calls (including off-duty OHIOCARES resource line monitoring).
- Develop, implement, and oversee behavioral health prevention programs, educational classes, and skill-building initiatives informed by comprehensive needs assessments and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) analyses.
- Coordinate with National Guard, military, and civilian agencies to establish community partnerships, facilitate timely information exchange, and drive collaborative prevention efforts.
- Maintain accurate clinical and administrative activity data in required formats and prepare comprehensive statistical and narrative reports regarding behavioral health operations.
- Provide professional assessment, advice, education, and training to other military and non-military health care professionals, medical personnel, military commanders/senior leaders concerning primary and secondary prevention programs.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
- PC proficiency, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Standard Installation/Division Personnel System (SIDPERS), eProfile and eCase.
- Technical skills preferred include Health Readiness Record (HRR), Medical Protection System (MEDPROS), and Medical Operational Data System (MODS).
Essential Job Requirements:
- Licensure: Must be licensed to practice clinical social work
- Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have the ability to prove U.S. citizenship.
- Security Requirement: Successfully pass a Background Investigation
