THE TEAM The AECG - Embedded Team builds and optimizes platforms for embedded and commercial applications, working across silicon, firmware, and software to deliver reliable, highperformance solutions at scale. THE ROLE: AMD's embedded business unit is looking for a senior leader in product/NPI program management for the exciting role of leading a team of program managers chartered to drive execution of key development programs cradle-to-grave, realizing roadmap into real embedded products into the hands of our customers. Besides leading the team, this person may also have to take program management ownership of one of the embedded product lines as and when necessary to get things started from ground-up. AMD's Embedded Business is part of AECG (Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group). Product line program management requires you to drive the execution of entire product stack where different deliverables are coming from different engineering teams/functions across AMD. These functions will be pre-silicon, SoC Engineering, Post-Silicon validation, BIOS development, reference boards, board operations, driver development, use-case validation, quality, yield product engineering etc. With keeping the big picture view of end-to-end program plan and execution, you should co-ordinate and iron-out dependencies among different engineering teams to make sure all the intermediary milestones are being met and execution remains on track. Success of the program will be defined as meeting or beating the scope, schedule and spend of the program. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
