As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems as needed while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production and warehouse areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Observe and report potential hazards, unusual conditions, damaged property, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
