TITLE: Inventory Clerk B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Warehouse Inventory Clerk supports the Warehouse by ensuring accurate verification and documentation of inventory, contributing to efficient inventory management and smooth warehouse operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in administrative or clerical work; prior inventory work a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Detail orientated with strong organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of warehouse shipping and receiving processes and documentation
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organizes and inputs all inventory transactions into computer databases for daily audit.
• Audits all entries upon receipt of daily inventory report to ensure accuracy.
• Adjust inventory counts when physical count differs from inventory database.
• Resolves inventory discrepancies by researching all supporting inventory records.
• Reports unresolvable discrepancies immediately to Warehouse Manager.
• Maintains, controls, files and resolves any discrepancies on material transfer records for all locations.
• Audits all product and other material shipped by Reef truck to San Benito location and ensures accuracy of inventory and MTR records. Completes audits by applying seal to truck prior to departure.
• Resolves all discrepancies on the inventory exception list daily.
• Maintains adjustment log for all inventory discrepancies.
• Performs all inventory audits (daily, weekly and monthly) on schedule provided by Warehouse Manager.
• Maintains standard of housekeeping and safety in warehouse and warehouse office.
• Cross trains and performs the duties and responsibilities of the other warehouse clerks to provide continuous coverage and additional staffing during periods of increased workload.
• Conforms to all Reef policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
