Description Lincoln Hospital Service/Maintenance Support Lincoln Hospital is seeking a full time Environmental Services Team Member (Housekeeping) to join their team! For a limitedtimeMaineHealth is offering up to$3,000Sign onbonus for all eligible Environmental Service Technicians!
This position will have a custodial focus and can include: Collecting and disposing of trash from Soiled Utility rooms in the hospital at regular intervals throughout the shift. Collecting and processing of soiled linen bags from Soiled Utility rooms in the hospital at regular intervals throughout the shift. Collection and processing of Biohazardous Waste from Soiled Utility rooms in the hospital at least once per shift. Cleaning of floors in the hospital utilizing the department's Nobles and NSS floor cleaning equipment as well as manual mopping. Cleaning of stairwells in the hospital. Cleaning of elevators in the hospital. Assistance with unloading of clean linens and their distribution throughout the hospital. Responding to general cleaning requests received on department iPhones. Assistance with upkeep of our departmental vacuums. This position consists of 40 hours per week, day shifts. The schedule is 6:00a-2:30p including weekend and major/minor holiday rotation Summary: The Environmental Services Team Member role performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
