The impact you'll make

As a System Project Manager within Global Planning & Operations, you will lead the coordination and execution of system-level deliveries from slotting through final shipment to the customer. This role represents the internal customer perspective, ensuring alignment across supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics to meet committed ship dates and drive customer satisfaction.

You will operate at the center of cross-functional teams, proactively managing material readiness, resolving shipment risks, and ensuring smooth execution across the system lifecycle.

What you'll do
  • Lead non-technical project execution from initiation through delivery, representing the internal customer perspective.
  • Decision owner of the Manufacturing Committed Ship Date (MCSD).
  • Manage system shipment execution from configuration alignment through final shipment from Lam (Material & Shipment Risk Management).
  • Analyze material constraints including, remote factory and manufacturing readiness to determine risk to committed ship dates.
  • Drive alignment and adherence to milestones through cross-functional engagement.
  • Lead CFTs across internal groups such as Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Product Groups, Sales Operations, Manufacturing, and Logistics.
  • Serve as the central coordination point to ensure all stakeholders are aligned to committed delivery timelines.
Who we're looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering or6+ years of related experience in project management or program management.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Preferred qualifications
  • Microsoft Excel (data analysis, tracking, reporting).
  • PowerPoint (executive communication).
  • SAP or similar ERP system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in semi-conductor, capital equipment, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of system build processes and factory execution (production control, integration, and test).
  • Familiarity with demand/supply planning concepts

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $92,000.00 -$211,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
