As a Security Officer Correctional Site in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Professional supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and visitor screening activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document security-related observations. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, customer-access areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain communication with site leadership and/or emergency responders, and support a professional environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have X-ray screening experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
