As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Documentation in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established site procedures and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, delivery documentation, and access credentials before permitting entry to restricted or controlled logistics areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
