Job Description:

The Sr. Specialist, Commercial Forecasting, Demand Planning & Revenue Operations serves as the commercial owner of demand forecasting and planning processes for the Allergy Business Unit. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining account-level and SKU-level demand forecasts that support revenue planning, supply planning, manufacturing readiness, and strategic business decision-making. By integrating sales performance, customer demand signals, market intelligence, pricing assumptions, and commercial initiatives, the role delivers accurate short-term and long-range forecasts that improve business predictability and operational alignment.

The position leads the demand phase of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to develop consensus demand plans and aligned revenue projections. The role also owns multi-year volume and revenue forecasting, forecast governance, scenario planning, and forecast accuracy improvement. Through rigorous analysis and cross-functional collaboration, the Sr. Specialist provides actionable insights and planning recommendations that support growth, optimize operational execution, and drive informed business decisions.

  1. Own account-level demand forecasting by developing and maintaining demand plans for accounts using sales trends, customer intelligence, commercial initiatives, and market insights.
  2. Own SKU-level demand forecasting by translating customer demand signals into product-level forecasts that support inventory, manufacturing, procurement, and supply planning activities.
  3. Lead the demand phase of the S&OP process, including forecast development, demand review meetings, forecast reconciliation, assumption management, and submission of validated commercial demand plans.
  4. Develop and maintain long-range demand forecasts spanning annual and five-year planning horizons to support strategic planning, budgeting, capacity planning, and business growth initiatives.
  5. Own revenue forecast development by translating volume forecasts into revenue projections using price-volume-mix analysis, average selling price assumptions, product mix changes, and commercial growth drivers.
  6. Establish and govern forecasting methodologies, assumptions, and processes to ensure forecast consistency, transparency, accuracy, and auditability across the organization.
  7. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to align demand assumptions and build consensus forecasts that balance commercial objectives with operational realities.
  8. Analyze forecast performance and demand variability by monitoring forecast accuracy, identifying root causes of variance, and implementing corrective actions to improve planning reliability.
  9. Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of customer demand shifts, pricing changes, supply constraints, competitive actions, and strategic business decisions.
  10. Provide revenue operations analytics and business insights through forecasting dashboards, demand reporting, performance metrics, and executive-level planning recommendations.
  11. Serve as the commercial subject matter expert for demand planning and forecasting, providing guidance, recommendations, and decision support to commercial and operational leadership.
  12. Drive continuous improvement of forecasting, demand planning, and business planning processes to enhance organizational planning maturity, forecast predictability, and cross-functional alignment.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Analytics, Marketing, Operations Management, or related field required.
  • APICS/ASCM (CPIM, CSCP), Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Business Analytics certifications preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial forecasting, demand planning, revenue operations, commercial analytics, financial planning, sales operations, supply chain planning, or related business planning functions. Experience developing account-level and SKU-level forecasts and partnering across commercial and operational teams required.
  • Experience supporting or leading demand planning and S&OP processes, developing multi-year volume and revenue forecasts, performing price-volume-mix analysis, and working in pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, or other regulated industries. Experience with Power BI, Salesforce, ERP systems, and forecasting tools preferred.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge required.
  • Demand planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) knowledge required.
  • Account-level and SKU-level forecasting knowledge required.
  • Revenue forecasting and price-volume-mix analysis knowledge required.
  • Advanced Excel modeling and business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred) knowledge required.
  • Salesforce, ERP systems, and commercial data analysis.
  • Scenario planning, forecasting analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial decision-making skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and analytical discipline.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize competing business needs.

Hiring Wage: $92,250-$123,000 annually, with opportunities for growth, promotion, and annual raises.
