IMEG is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern in Minneapolis, MN to work closely with experienced engineers and consultants on the analysis, design, and implementation of structural systems in buildings and other structures. This role supports project work from early design tasks through documentation and coordination. In this role, you'll support coordination across disciplines, document design decisions and project progress, and help the team meet project goals and client expectations while working within project budgets. You'll contribute to commercial and institutional work across a range of building types, supporting structural projects that align with sustainable design goals including SE2050. At a Glance Location: Minneapolis, MN What You'll Do * Assist with structural design work on projects in accordance with applicable codes and IMEG standards What You'll Bring Required Education * Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required Experience * None required Required Skills/Abilities * Strong interest in design consulting Preferred * Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred About the Team * Minneapolis structural team with active education, government, senior housing, entertainment, utility, and industrial work. For positions available in multiple locations, the minimums and maximums may vary based on work location. Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's experience, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and licensure and certifications. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
