Temple University's ITS Department is searching for an IT Manager, Business Applications-Institutional Advancement!

Salary Range: $100,000-$135,000
A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant's education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.

Position Summary:
The IT Manager, Business Applications - Institutional Advancement provides leadership for the technology solutions that support the institution's fundraising, alumni engagement, advancement services, and donor relations functions. This position manages a team responsible for Salesforce application support, business reporting, data analysis, and application development while serving as the primary technology partner for the Institutional Advancement division.

Working closely with Institutional advancement leadership and stakeholders, this role ensures that business applications effectively support fundraising operations, constituent engagement, reporting, and strategic decision-making. The Manager is responsible for prioritizing work, managing system enhancements, improving business processes, and delivering reliable technology solutions that advance the institution's mission.

Required Education and Experience
*Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field and at least 4 years of related technical experience.

*At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise business applications.

*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities
*Experience supervising or leading technical staff.

*Experience supporting Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.

*Experience with business reporting, dashboards, and data analysis.

*Knowledge of software development lifecycle and change management practices.

*Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

*Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality customer service.

Preferred

*Experience supporting Institutional Advancement, fundraising, higher education, or nonprofit organizations.

*Salesforce Administrator certification.

*Experience with Advancement CRM solutions.

*Experience with SQL, reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), and workflow automation.

*Knowledge of data integration technologies and APIs.

*Experience with project management methodologies.
