About This Position

Keefe Group is looking for an analytical, and professional to join our Northeast Regional Inventory team.

You will work onsite in the distribution center. You will report to the Inventory Manager.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, analyzing data, and partnering with operations teams to achieve results. The Northeast Regional Inventory Operations Lead plays a critical role in supporting inventory accuracy, operational discipline, training consistency, and process improvement across multiple facilities throughout the Northeast Region.

This is more than an inventory position. It is a developmental opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in supply chain, inventory management, and operations leadership. Successful employees in this role gain valuable exposure to regional operations, project leadership, data analysis, training, and process improvement plans, creating a foundation for future advancement opportunities.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

  • Manage cycle count programs for distribution centers, service centers, and onsite facilities.
  • Review daily inventory exception reports and identify causes of inventory inaccuracies.
  • Support inventory audits and ensure compliance with established inventory control standards.
  • You will travel approximately 20% regionally, typically involving quarterly visits to service centers, regional facilities and physical inventories.
  • Train and support regional inventory personnel on inventory control best practices.
  • Plan, coordinate, and assist with annual physical inventories throughout the region.
  • Provide post-inventory recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Be an inventory liaison between regional facilities, operations leadership, and corporate support teams.
  • Track trends, communicate findings, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Support projects designed to improve efficiency, accuracy, consistency, and customer service.
  • Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, inventory analysis, warehouse operations, supply chain, or operations support.
  • Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, or warehouse management systems.
  • Experience conducting cycle counts, inventory audits, or physical inventories.
