Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).

Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy,IL; Englewood, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Summary:

The Porter will be responsible for keeping all working areas and physical surroundings of the plant in a clean and orderly condition. This operation is to be performed keeping safety as a primary objective and following established GMP, Safety, Regulatory and Company procedures and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the plant's food safety culture andcomplying withall food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements applicable to the position.

• Clean and sanitize production floorsin accordance withfacility cleaning schedules.

• Remove trash and food waste from designated areas; ensure waste is disposed of properly.

• Sweep, mop, scrub floors;operatefloor-cleaning equipment asrequired.

• Maintain cleanliness of loading docksandentryways.

• Assistwith cleaning productionareasneeded.

• Follow proper chemical handling procedures andmaintainaccuratechemical usage logs.

• Ensure compliance with GMPsand all company safety policies.

• Report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to managementimmediately.

• Support special cleaning projects during plant shutdowns or as directed.

• Adapts to shifting priorities andassistswherever needed to meet company goals.

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1+ year of experience in janitorial, sanitation, or facility maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices
• Ability to read and follow safety instructions and cleaning schedules.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical: Ability to lift 50 Pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights

Compensation: $18.06

Schedule:Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
