The Building People, LLC, has an immediate opening for an Occupancy and Space Management Analyst This position provides administrative, analytical, and coordination support for occupancy agreements and reimbursable services. The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and useful records of building space and occupancy.

Responsibilities:

Occupancy Agreement Management



  • Maintaining an inventory of active, proposed, amended, expiring, and terminated occupancy agreements.
  • Maintaining an occupancy agreement action calendar.
  • Compiling tenant requirements and business terms for Government consideration.
  • Preparing draft occupancy agreement packages, amendments, supplements, exhibits, and financial schedules.
  • Supporting development of space, parking, service, tenant improvement, amenity, security, and reimbursable requirements.
  • Coordinating information needed from facilities, security, finance, legal counsel, acquisition, and tenant organizations.
  • Maintaining version control and decision records.
  • Monitoring effective dates, expiration dates, cancellation provisions, funding dependencies, and renewal milestones.
  • Reconciling occupancy agreement data with space inventory and billing records.
  • Developing standard templates, checklists, workflow diagrams, and quality control procedures.
  • Supporting periodic reviews of occupancy arrangements.
  • Maintaining the official working inventory of space by floor, suite, tenant, use, and occupancy status.


Space Inventory and Occupancy Management



  • Maintaining stacking plans and occupancy diagrams.
  • Reconciling floor plans, space assignments, occupancy records, and financial records.
  • Tracking usable, rentable, assigned, shared, vacant, and unavailable space, as applicable, and in accordance with industry and federal standards.
  • Maintaining employee population and occupancy estimates.
  • Supporting utilization and occupancy analyses.
  • Maintaining records of planned moves, restacks, expansions, contractions, and new occupancies.
  • Supporting preliminary blocking, test fit, and space scenario analyses.
  • Coordinating computer aided design or drawing updates when included in the Contractor's proposed staffing.
  • Maintaining spacial data quality controls and audit trails.
  • Preparing recurring occupancy reports and executive dashboards.
  • Supporting required real property inventory and utilization reporting.



Required Experience & Skills


  • Five years of space, occupancy, workplace, or real estate data experience.
  • Experience reconciling floor plans, space assignments, occupancy, and financial information.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet, database, visualization, and applicable drawing tools



*Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and certifications.

*Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government.
