Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Anacortes, WA

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Work schedule: M-F, 8h days

Compensation: $40.00 per hour

About This Role and You

The Chemtrade Anacortes facility is a spent sulfuric acid regeneration plant, providing hydrogen sulfide processing services for the local refinery by converting hydrogen sulfide into sulfuric acid.

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the clerical functions in the management of the Mechanical Integrity Program (MIP) within the Maintenance department, is conversant with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and is adept at Work Order processing and stores management in conjunction with SAP, responsible for but not limited to overall control of parts and materials being received and shipped at the Anacortes site location, ensure spare parts are on site and inventoried, develop job kits and BOMs for plant assets for improved repair times and work efficiency which improves operating downtime, preventing duplicate orders and reordering missing parts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Lead and perform all activities involved in ordering and receiving materials/parts.
  • Accurately complete and deliver against required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Equipment Tracking Report and other inventory reports.
  • Unpack and place items/materials in proper storage locations.
  • Identify equipment repair/maintenance returns and coordinate returns.
  • Organize inventory and track consumption.
  • Responsible for ensuring equipment is prepared and cleaned for storage.
  • Provide notification/updates to management of material status.
  • Help pull materials for jobs ensuring consumed parts are reordered and stocked.
  • Properly execute Positive Material Identification (PMI) of received and consumed parts
  • Keep warehouses organized and labeled correctly.
  • Utilizing SAP to keep inventory updated with proper part numbers.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure proper material acquisitions.
  • Become familiar with ISO9001 and RC14001 requirements at the site.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year's experience working in a warehouse with emphasis on inventory control.
  • Experience with pallet jack operations and material movement indoors and outdoors a plus.
  • Experience operating a fork truck is a plus.
  • Ability to use computers effectively, Microsoft programs, maintenance management system, e-mail, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer's literature, diagrams or schematics.
  • Must be able to complete specific job function training and/or certification programs.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated good interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record required.
  • Basic mechanical ability - use of hand tools, safety equipment and company equipment.

Environmental, Health and Saftey Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with the Chemtrade Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) policies and procedures.
  • Immediately report all ES&H incidents (injuries, near misses, releases).
  • Complete all required ES&H training in a timely fashion.
  • Follow all Chemtrade facility and corporate ES&H procedures and practices.
  • Attend and actively participate in facility ES&H meetings and forums that will drive employee involvement.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for ES&H program improvement.
  • Participate in job safety analysis activities.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Must be physically able to climb stairs and ladders (as required).
  • Must be "physically fit for duty

Must be able to perform under the following conditions:

  • Work in elevated places.
  • Work in outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions as required.
  • Work in noisy environments.
  • Work in areas that are dusty and have some odor from chemicals - etc.
  • Ability to work safely.
