Research Technologist

This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of industry-sponsored agricultural engineering and technology projects. Responsibilities include project logistics and equipment transportation, equipment preparation and maintenance, data collection and management, purchasing and inventory tracking, coordination with industry partners, management of laboratory and project spaces, and support for industry demonstrations, field evaluation days, agricultural shows, and stakeholder events.

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires an associate degree and two years of relevant experience.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in some technical or management/leadership field.
• Experience in agriculture and agricultural equipment operation and transportation.
• CDL with large equipment trailer experience.
• Event planning experience for large group events.
• Social media skills and experience.
• Shop safety and organization knowledge.
• Long range planning of projects.
