Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity available for a traffic technician to conduct field work throughout northern and eastern West Virginia. The bulk of field work will be concentrated in West Virginia, District 5 (Berkeley, Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson Mineral, & Morgan counties). There are two Limited Term Employee positions available, and work can begin as early as September 2026 and will last until February 2027, or longer. This position is paid hourly, and any time worked beyond 40 hours per week will be paid at time-and-a-half. Responsibilities include:
Travel to work sites throughout the state is an essential function of this position; a valid driver's license is required and be capable of safely operating and maintaining a company vehicle. Extended hours, a flexible schedule with ability to work both day and night shifts in the same week and overnight stays may be required. Successful candidate will have the following:

Physical Requirements: This role involves working outdoors on a regular basis in various conditions, including live traffic environments, and requires the ability to lift and squat at least 25 pounds.
