Job Summary

The Wipedown Associate is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting medical devices to reduce bioburden, supporting inbound receiving and outbound shipping activities, and maintaining accurate inventory. The role requires compliance with GxP, transportation, and import/export requirements while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Clean and disinfect medical devices according to established procedures to reduce bioburden.
  • Prepare outbound shipments for domestic and international internal and external customers.
  • Box, palletize, wrap, strap, and apply appropriate shipping labels to outgoing shipments.
  • Fill inventory stocking requests and maintain appropriate inventory levels on the warehouse floor.
  • Verify inventory quantities, complete cycle counts, and perform batch reconciliations.
  • Report inventory discrepancies to the Inventory Analyst.
  • Properly move and store inventory to maintain organized work areas and reduce congestion.
  • Maintain appropriate segregation of non-conforming inventory.
  • Support inbound receiving and warehouse activities as required.
  • Complete required training on schedule and maintain current certifications.
  • Perform assigned projects and other duties as directed by management.
  • Follow applicable GxP, transportation, and import/export requirements.


Job Requirements



  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Results-oriented approach with the ability to maintain accuracy.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and continuously as required.
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
  • Ability to work effectively in a warehouse and medical-device handling environment.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
