| Position Highlights |
This position will provide and instruct on case studies associated with FCM 296. This is an introductory Core course in the BS in Medicine concentration. It will provide students with an opportunity to gain insight into how medicine applies to various disciplines involved in medicine and health sciences. These include Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Social Work, Psychology, Nutrition, Occupational/Physical Therapy, and Law. Through an interactive format, students will be challenged with various patient cases to consider the role that each of these disciplines plays in the care of the patient.

| Duties & Responsibilities |
- Provide instructional support and expertise on case studies associated with FCM 296.
- Teach 5-6, 50-minute sessions on how medicine applies to various disciplines involved in medicine and health sciences.
- Facilitate interactive discussion on the developed clinical case studies for the students to apply materials taught previously in the course.
- Identify and communicate to course instructor students' presence or absence, as well as discussion participation.
- Develop interactive cases to be discussed in the course based on the content developed by the instructor of record.
- Support students by responding to requests and comments. May assist with grading and entering grades.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to develop and present instructional materials to large classes and effectively communicate complex information to varied audiences.
- Subject-matter expertise in the medical field, with the ability to identify and communicate career opportunities and pathways for students following graduation.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Master's degree or higher required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
