Job Summary

The Enrollment Navigator serves as a primary point of contact for students during critical transition points in the enrollment lifecycle. Using a caseload management approach, the Enrollment Navigator supports newly admitted students in becoming enrollment-ready and by assisting students with resolving enrollment-related barriers such as holds, documentation, and administrative requirements. Enrollment Navigators proactively guide students through institutional processes, reduce friction points, and support persistence by helping students navigate systems, policies, and next steps.

The Enrollment Navigator consistently exhibits service, collaboration, and excellence as championed by the Division of Enrollment, Marketing and Student Success.

Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned caseload of students, providing proactive, personalized outreachand follow-up
  • Monitor and document student progress toward enrollment and registration milestones using CRM and student information systems, ensuring accurate, timely records of student interactions, outcomes, and next steps to support continuity of care and effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Support newly admitted and current students in completing enrollment-related requirements and resolving barriers that impact registration and persistence, including documentation, financial aid steps, and administrative holds
  • Identify and resolve barriers that may delay enrollment, escalating complex issues when appropriate
  • Partner with Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Success, Housing, and other offices to facilitate timely resolution of issues
  • Support students during key registration periods to promote on-time enrollment and persistence
  • Coordinate closely with Admissions Counselors and Academic Success Advisors to ensure smooth transitions from recruitment through advising support
  • Conduct outreach via phone, text, email, and virtual or in-person appointments based on student need and preference
  • Participate in enrollment events, orientations, and targeted outreach campaigns as needed
  • Provide feedback on process gaps and student pain points to inform continuous improvement efforts  
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field, or High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus relevant experience

Required Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in enrollment, customer service, or related roles (including internships, part-time, or volunteer experience)
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with caseload management models and proactive outreach strategies
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Slate) and student information systems
Proposed Salary

$20.71 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
