What you will enjoy doing*
- You
will plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of industrial mechanical and rotating systems including compressors, pumps, turbines, motors, gearboxes, heat exchangers, and cooling towers - You shall support and maintain water treatment systems, gas fired
vaporizers, hydrogen generators, piping systems, and other related process equipment to ensure reliable operation - In this role you will assist in turnaround planning and cost estimation for
mechanical work while identifying and resolving chronic mechanical asset concerns - You are expected to conduct periodic inspection and maintenance of plant
equipment and actively support the root cause analysis program for major failures - In addition you should maintain documentation of all maintenance activities
in the enterprise asset management system and uphold the Oil and Vibrations Predictive Program - Additionally work independently to make technical decisions and escalate
technical concerns when necessary to protect safety and equipment integrity - Furthermore perform office work and field work, ensuring accessibility
during off hours and safely accessing elevated equipment using ladders, scaffolding, man lifts, and crane baskets - Lastly contribute to a disciplined, safety focused environment by executing
work practices that reinforce compliance and operational excellence
What makes you great
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience maintaining mechanical and
rotating systems in an industrial manufacturing environment - You shall demonstrate proven experience in installation, troubleshooting,
inspection, and repairs of compressors, turbines, blowers, and heat exchangers - In this role you will apply knowledge of preventive and predictive
maintenance methods for industrial mechanical and rotating equipment - You are skilled in using precision measuring devices and performing
precision alignment on multi train equipment with accuracy and care - In addition you should demonstrate excellent communication and team
interaction skills with the ability to work independently and effectively lead or participate in teams - Additionally show strong documentation and record keeping capabilities
along with proficiency in computers, standard software packages, and the computerized maintenance management system - Furthermore bring understanding of regulatory and industrial standards and
codes, with completion of a machinist or millwright apprenticeship program considered a valuable asset - Lastly offer hands on experience in vibration analysis and dynamic
balancing and familiarity with the enterprise asset management system
