The zOS Mainframe Services team is responsible for the administration, stability, and security of our organization's IBM z/OS mainframe environment. As a critical component of the company's technology infrastructure, the team supports high-volume, mission-critical business applications and data processing systems that enable core business operations. Our team manages the full lifecycle of the z/OS platform, including system programming, operating system maintenance, performance optimization, disaster recovery, automation, and security compliance. We partner closely with application development, database, storage, networking, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable, and highly available services. Each team member plays a vital role, owning specific technological components that are essential to zOS operations. Work Environment:
Position Purpose: Write or debug programs to maintain and control computer systems software, such as operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. Provide technical and disaster recovery support for systems software. Performs work under minimal supervision. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
