Position Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst I is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules while leveraging ERP systems, reporting tools, and data analysis to support efficient manufacturing operations and on-time customer delivery. This position analyzes production, inventory, and demand data to identify risks, improve planning accuracy, and support data-driven decision making. The Planner Analyst works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to balance production capacity, material availability, and customer demand. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Stevens Point, WI facility. Role Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules using ERP/MRP systems based on customer demand, inventory levels, capacity, and material availability. Analyze production, inventory, and scheduling data to identify trends, constraints, and opportunities for process improvement. Create, maintain, and automate reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools to improve operational visibility. Utilize ERP/MRP systems to monitor work orders, inventory, demand, and production performance while ensuring data accuracy. Perform root cause analysis on schedule disruptions, shortages, late orders, and capacity constraints, and recommend corrective actions. Prioritize production orders and adjust schedules to meet changing customer requirements and manufacturing priorities. Monitor inventory accuracy, planning parameters, lead times, and planning data to Present production metrics, schedule status, and planning risks during daily and weekly operational meetings. Support continuous improvement initiatives through process analysis, reporting enhancements, and system optimization. Maintain accurate planning master data including lead times, BOMs, planning parameters, and scheduling information. Special projects, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, materials, purchasing, manufacturing operations, production planning, shipping/receiving, scheduling, or data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with ERP/MRP systems Experience using Microsoft Power BI, Access, or other business intelligence/reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and make data-driven decisions. APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of inventory management, production planning principles, and capacity planning.
