Description

The Financial Accountant is responsible for analyzing financial results, preparing and reviewing complex accounting transactions, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. This role partners with operational and financial leaders across the organization to provide timely, accurate financial information and maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Reconciling account balances, developing accounting estimates, preparing and validating journal entries, along with providing recurring financial accounting support to store locations are key components of the Financial Accountant's day-to-day responsibilities.

    What You Will Do:



    • Financial Analysis and Business Partnership: Analyze financial results, present financial performance to stakeholders, and partner with operational leaders to provide financial guidance and actionable insights for decision-making.
    • Financial Reporting and Close Processes: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, journal entries, and accounting estimates, while supporting month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
    • Reconciliation and Financial Integrity: Prepare and review account reconciliations and supporting documentation to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records and statements.
    • Process Improvement and Audit Support: Identify and implement improvements to reporting and accounting processes, and support internal, external, and compliance audits through the preparation of documentation, analyses, and account support.

    What You Will Need:



    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
    • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, auditing or financial reporting.
    • Skills: General knowledge of accounting principles to include an understanding of financial statements and reconciliation processes. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
