Primary Duties

1. Develops, calibrates, and maintains reservoir simulation models used to evaluate reservoir performance, forecast deliverability, and support long-term storage planning.

2. Operates with considerable latitude in performing complex reservoir engineering assignments involving the evaluation, development, and optimization of underground natural gas storage reservoirs.

3. Evaluates reservoir and well performance data to identify opportunities that optimize storage capacity, deliverability, and operational efficiency.

4. Designs and recommend reservoir enhancements, well intervention, and performance improvement programs to maximize reliability and value of storage assets.

5. Provides technical input regarding reservoir development strategies, capital projects, and engineering recommendations based on sound engineering principles and economic evaluation.

6. Reviews engineering analyses, reservoir studies, and simulation results to ensure technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company engineering standards.

7. Assists in the coordination of multidisciplinary engineering activities between reservoir, drilling, operations, geoscience, and regulatory teams to support project execution.

8. Prepares specialized technical reports, reserve and inventory evaluations, and engineering studies required to support business planning, regulatory compliance, and operational decision-making.

9. Determines and develops engineering approaches to resolve complex reservoir performance, deliverability, and storage optimization challenges.

10.Conducts quantitative and qualitative risk assessments on underground storage assets, evaluating well barrier integrity, caprock soundness, and subsurface pressure limits to mitigate operational hazards, ensure environmental compliance, and support long-term asset reliability.
