Job Summary and Responsibilities Acentra Health is looking for a Behavioral Certified Behavior Analyst-AL to join our growing team. Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to conduct administrative and process-based reviews of medical records related to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The BCBA Clinical Reviewer evaluates documentation against established criteria and contractual requirements to determine medical appropriateness. This role does not involve direct clinical judgment regarding patient care or therapeutic decisions. Instead, the focus is on ensuring compliance, accuracy, and completeness of ABA documentation in accordance with applicable guidelines. Supplier shall furnish with their response to this RFP a resume/curriculum vitae (CV) for proposed at minimum one (1) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Consultant with extensive knowledge of ABA treatment models, Medicaid ABA policy, medical necessity criteria, and nationally recognized ABA practice standards to support the Prior Authorization (PA) program. The ABA Consultant shall maintain day-to-day responsibilities for review obligations under this Contract and shall receive policy direction from the Agency's Program Manager. The ABA Consultant must be located within the State of Alabama, maintain an active and unrestricted professional license or certification applicable to ABA service delivery (Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and remain in good standing with the appropriate certifying/licensing board. The ABA Consultant must be available to perform contract duties during Agency business hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Central Time and may not hold a concurrent employment or contractual relationship with any Medicaid-enrolled ABA provider while performing work under this Contract. ***Candidate must reside in Alabama and hold an active professional license in the state*** Responsibilities:
