What You'll Do

The Supervisor, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), performs biopsychosocial evaluations, as well as plans and provides treatment and case management for clients with substance use disorders (SUDs) and co-occurring disorders (CODs).

Key Performance Responsibilities:

  • Conduct biopsychosocial evaluation, including participating in the development of diagnostic impressions for SUDs or Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT).
  • Create treatment plans for SUDs and CODs, including initial, ongoing, continuity of care, discharge, and planning for relapse prevention.
  • Make referrals.
  • Service coordination and case management for SUDs and CODs.
  • Provide counseling, therapy, and trauma informed care, with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Provide education for clients, family, and community.
  • Timely completion of documentation (may include assessments, treatment plans, progress and group notes, discharge summary) according to established standards.
  • Comply with professional and ethical responsibilities.
  • Comply with supervisory responsibilities for a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Supervisor, or a trainee seeking certification, provided that the Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor has been approved as a supervisor by the Board.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution in a health and human services counseling field, with an emphasis on alcohol and drug studies, preferred.
  • Current certification as an SUDP in the state in which services are provided.

Compensation for this role ranges from $38.54- $47.30 per hour depending on education, licensure and experience.
