Principal Technical Program Manager (AI) (Remote)

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end AI program portfolio for an assigned solution area or business unit, from intake and prioritization through production monitoring and business outcomes.
• Serve as the primary AI delivery partner to business leadership, translating priorities into roadmaps, resource plans, and execution strategies.
• Validate AI solutions for accuracy, quality, compliance, and business value before and after production deployment.
• Partner with AI/ML scientists, engineers, product leaders, analysts, and business stakeholders to align delivery objectives and outcomes.
• Identify, manage, and resolve portfolio risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers across AI initiatives.
• Drive investment prioritization, capacity planning, and strategic tradeoff decisions within the AI portfolio.
• Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and ensure alignment between objectives and execution.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements and support responsible AI delivery practices.

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or a related technical role.
• Demonstrated experience delivering Generative AI or agentic systems end-to-end in production environments.
• Proven success managing AI portfolios including roadmap prioritization, stakeholder alignment, resource planning, risk management, and measurable business outcomes.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and iterative development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, systems design, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevOps practices, and SDLC tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Asana, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or related certification.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning, healthcare technology, or cybersecurity domains.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $160,000-$185,000. Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and bonus opportunities.
