JOB SUMMARY:

Senior Consultant is a highly experienced and strategic leader who has a strong understanding of EHR solutions and technology. This consultant uses industry best practices to ensure proper alignment between workflow and technology. Senior Consultants will work closely with cross-functional teams and gather voice of the customer to define design requirements, as well as understand and execute delivery roadmap successfully. Senior Consultants may also mentor other consultants and contribute to the overall delivery strategy.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Understand and articulate product functionality and related workflows.

  2. Collaborate with customers and other project teams to define product design and configuration following industry best practices.

  3. Identify and determine inputs and work tasks needed to complete fully functional product configurations.

  4. Lead meetings and sessions with clients and other project team members to complete work tasks.

  5. Perform tasks that need independent judgment to implement EHR products and technology to meet customer needs.

  6. Operate independently without assistance or guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with best practices.

  7. Make recommendations to customers about efficient and effective use of technology.

  8. Mitigate risks and issues.

  9. Act as a mentor and coach to other consultants and team members.

  10. Influence customer roadmap and design.

  11. Contribute to long-term planning and innovation.

JOB SCOPE: Senior Consultant works under minimal direction and uses independent judgment to identify issues, trends & problems and recommend action plans and evaluate results on initiatives that may not be clearly defined and are large in scope. Work is varied and complex, requiring the individual to use a broad range of knowledge gained through experience. The position works with internal and external sources to complete objectives, keeping the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decisions and taking action. Senior Consultant has increased responsibility, leadership, and strategic influence expected at the senior level.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree, or 7 equivalent years of related experience.

  • 7+ years of experience with Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) EHR applications, with a strong track record of delivering successful products.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including the ability to present ideas clearly and respond to inquiries effectively.

  • Knowledge of Healthcare industry and understanding all major workflows associated with specific Oracle Health EHR solutions.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate across multiple teams or departments.

  • Skilled in building positive working relationships across various levels and functions.

  • Effective at fostering trust and rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Dedicated to delivering high-quality service and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

  • Strategic thinker who understands broader business goals and takes initiative to drive value.

  • Ability to use software, hardware, and peripherals related to job responsibilities, including MS Office

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $120k-$140k. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
